About Us – Borno State Ministry of Health and Human Services
The Borno State Ministry of Health and Human Services is the government institution charged with ensuring the delivery of quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare services to all residents of Borno State. It formulates and implements health policies, manages public health institutions, and partners with local and international organizations to improve health outcomes across the state.
The Ministry plays a central role in strengthening health systems through the development of human resources, infrastructure, and effective service delivery models. It works to combat disease, reduce health inequalities, and promote the well-being of individuals and communities across all Local Government Areas.
